There’s nothing to like about Nykaa except that it looks like a good brand name for the outsiders.

The work in product is nothing close to product management and is more related to the maintenance of the Nykaa app. Most managers are incompetent and do not know how to ensure their subordinates growth. People till staff product management position are individual contributors and do not get an opportunity to lead a team at all. Theindividual contributor is expected to drive the entire charter, ensure the ‘maintenance’ of the product, extend the working hours and still get paid way lesser than industry standards. Middle Management- There are hardly any good people manager/product leader to work under in the GPM/Director layer. Overall Product Vision- There is no clarity in communicating the broader product vision and strategy amongst the org. Relevant Infrastructure to learn and grow in the org is pretty poor.

He has no guts to say wrong to the person who is wrong but keep buttering ladies of the store. He only needs women attention and hate boys. Promotes favourite girl who can't handle the problem.

The company is good overall, but the management of the operations audit department is not well-educated. They tend to favor people who have been with them since the beginning. The manager, (R P) lacks education and even struggles with drafting emails. They also mistreat team members, even during calls. There have been instances where they avoid interacting with senior management. If you are a favorite, then you don't need to worry, but if not, it's not a good situation. Work is creative and interesting. Few old employees (who have left) were good. Exposure is good, and u can get creative however there are people in line to steal credit. You get featured on social media so it looks shiny. Get to attend events and meet people which seems excited but is exhausting

Politics at its peak, please come in Only if u have thick skin. Women love their share of gossip,so you can very well become the topic. Appraisals are basis how well you can bootlick people in power. Promotions are a joke. There’s no HR’s help. HR hires people only when you take initiatives and there’s people leaving so quick because there’s hardly any structure
