Nothing. Probably just give the salary on time. Nothing else to cherish about this company.

Almost everything. No job security. No benifits. Cuts on yearly bonus thus reducing the CTC. Poor work life balance. No separate forum to express your grievances. Not employee friendly.

The only decent thing about this place is that you'll get your monthly salary on time. That's literally it.

1. You don't have to be a lawyer to work here. 2. Clerical job, monotonous work, no career growth, no learning experience. Most of all- NO JOB SECURITY. 3. If you do your work on time, your quality and productivity is fine and are not making repeated errors, work what is assigned then you shouldn't have any problem in working here. Yes, the work is monotonous and clerical but that's what document review is. Novus build story for pre trial purpose for the clients and that is done by reviewing/ tagging the documents. So, if you think you want to use legal knowledge in work then this not for you. It's a non-legal job for legal people. And you don't need to have legal knowledge. I liked the administrative department and the global team/ management and others. The HRs are helpful. They are just doing their job and if you do your work in a fine manner they would not have any issue with you. You can have one on one with the management also in case of any issue or if something is troubling you. And, I disagree with other's comments on hire and fire policy. They give multiple chances before firing. They would even call to discuss the problem areas and would understand if their is something troubling you. If you are ready to work and improve they would never fire you. And, if you act up or show attitude and are not sincere with your work and behaviour then they will definitely would mark you red. Their leave policies are amazing. The salary is always on time. Salary is decent enough. I didn't face any issue with the SD leads . They are biased to their favorites employees but that would not hamper you much coz, it's unfortunately, human tendency. I found them approachable and helpful. But again, they have their special picks too so expect less. If you work well- appraisal is always done. But never expect coz you will be disappointed. As the work is monotonous there is stagnancy. However, you can work with ease and not stress much about memorizing anything or using your brain much as every instructions and guidance is provided. You can raise queries. The US counter parts, in my experience, were friendly and nice. But each to their own. Just do your tasks, complete your time, try to maintain quality above team (difficult but doable) then you are sorted. Don't indulge in any gossip or unnecessary conversation....Read More

It's your colleagues that you have to be wary of. Some of them are real snobs and feel like that they are the queens. But they are just sad people having nothing in life but to butter -up management. I could name so many of them. The environment is super competitive in terms of productivity and target. Some idiots, who just want to be in good books of mangement and has no life, over do their targets, sit beyond 9-10hours just to be on the top. This is creates toxicity and should not be endorsed or praised,which unfortunately is very much appreciated by the mangement. Even if you do your work with 100% dedication, complete your targets on time, maintain your quality, there are some queen bees who sit all night and just to put themselves on higher pedestal do more than required or asked. This should be banned but instead is appreciated. TOXIC! Their office fun - time/ event is so unnecessary and forceful. Most People dislike it. Fun sessions should be fun not stressful. It's not a bad place to join but be ready to always be on your toes and up game coz 90%quality would also be not appreciated if team has 91% average. Competition is cut throat or rather has been made so by few people. Hindi is banned. Nothing but English is used for communications. So, forget being informal. Beware of some female colleagues - they will complain anything to the the Directors. And, most importantly -all the Managers, have 100% quality always as they never send any quality error to fellow manager - it's an unsaid pact. This helps them maintaing their quality on record. The only thing I liked was that HR team and management people were frequently meeting with other resources.

Dislikes

Company strictly believes in hire and fire policy. There is no job security at all, every body live under constant threat that they might get the boot at any time. No salary appraisal for 3 consecutive years on account of false and unilateral assessment that the company is running in loss k>. Promotion is rare and higher posts are virtually out of reach for resources. Nomenclature of posts are such which are unknown in the industry, therefore of no use once leaving Novus. All the employees do the same (identical) work, but their remuneration differs big time. There is a huge difference in pay packages of the employees. Someone may be offered the double of you, and you may be asked/expected to work per his efficiency. You may be asked to leave (part ways ) the organization as well, if your opinion at work contradict with that of a 'senior specialist' on a project, who is more than five years old at work, and is drawing double your salary. At the very first project, everyone is asked/expected (doc. review and story writing) to perform equally even the newly joined candidates. There are hardly any increments in salaries of the employees throughout their working period. Management is pathetic. Project management is even worse. Candidates are trained one time only before been given a live project to work on. There is lesser stress on live project trainings. It may be the case that you are sitting idle for six months, doing hell lot of other things, but not trained on the projects per the company's expectations. How could it be the case that at the time of training your performance is good, but you are not been able to perform on live projects? Improper management and politics at the senior level has reuined the organisation's working and functioning. Four of us were recruited after shortlisting so many and we all were of no use to them. Top management sitting in the United States of America (USA) is been fooled by the top management in India. This leads to firing/leaving of candidates in between six months to four year's time period and organization incur huge losses. It was a mixed experience both good and bad. The worst part was when I was asked to leave (part ways) without any reason of the same been told to me, and the letter I was asked to sign was a resignation letter. This itself was an evidence of politics.
