Having worked here for 6 years, I like the flexibility the company offers in terms of work hours and leave policies. Additionally the pay scale is above market standards, salaries are credited on time - unlike many law firms. No cash payments. This organisation provides medical benefits as well to all employees.

I had a bad experience at Novus due to the following issues: 1) The company is obsessed with confidentiality, even for small things. This lack of transparency creates a feeling of distrust among employees. 2) There are always job openings, and 4-5 new people join every month. Many employees are fired suddenly without a clear reason,often citing background verification issues. When asked for details, the management hides behind confidentiality. 3) There is no job security at this company. 4) The company has many strange and strict policies: (a) In the office, electronic devices are not allowed in the work area and must be kept in lockers. However, when working from home, meetings are to be done by phone, which makes no sense and shows inconsistency in their confidentiality rules. (b) Food, pen, and paper are not allowed at desks. (c) Only transparent water bottles without stickers are allowed. Overall, the work environment is very restrictive, with no job security. An employee can still sacrifice on restrictive issues, but unnecessary firing can't be tolerated by an individual. Before considering this job, think twice....Read More
