This is a central government department. This department works many kind of serveys like urban frame servey, socio economic servey, educational and health serveys. I do work for socio economic servey, this servey is related to the service industries , trading industries, manufacturing industries . I am happy that I am a part of government body. My team leader is very good person and really I learn more things in this department....Read More

Compensation is average but growth is very slow. Normal work load, I have to work 8 hours only. I have arrange meetings to company directors and finance managers. And do the paper work. And finally done his work.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
