Its a great place to work. You get opportunity to change roles in 2 years, thereby you get exposure to different verticals. If you do well, you can get opportunity to move to Regional/Global roles as well. Lot of focus is put on employee development and depending on the team you are in, you can expect fun at work as well.

Dislikes

its a fast paced work culture. You may find few employees only concerned about their ratings or next promotion... a bit of favoritism comes in play. (however its not a company culture)

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
