Good working environment. Seniors are supportive and the management is good. Company policies are good, appraisals are good they give good salary hike and bonus every year. It is good understanding things in the office. Working in Defence is also proud moment to serve the nation in Defence Sector.

Dislikes

There is lot of politics in the between personnel and officers.

Work Details

The job is quite interesting, I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. Work from first without any training. I learnt everything on the job through old office files. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped m

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
