Top Management like India MD, IT CIO and CEO vision and commitment.Micron is a good company , filled with few wrong persons who shouldn’t be there in some functions .

I spent nearly 3 years in this function . Too many politics in IT-I&O Department. Every 6 months new leader, with new strategy . You just need to praise manager and put butter to get Elevation to your role and promotion . Zero professionalism in Team meetings , Mangers threaten employees , Senior Manger treats Mangers like school students .few managers are acting obedient with Senior Manger to get their November promotions . God know how this function will run in future . My sincere request to Boise management is align the teams with Boise functional leaders and respect the team who is actually working ....Read More

If you are part of IT, your visibility is very less. No compensation revision last year and no annual bonus this year with layoffs. Also the Executives are creating environment for team members to leave the company. No great training platforms

No Job Stability (Constant fear of layoffs, and salary cuts) No Work-Life Balance with constant and consistent late night meetings. Executive management don't want to build employee-centric company, want a Investor centric startup culture. Constant suspensions of hikes, bonuses, rewards, health benefits etc. Pathetic IT Equipments and IT Service, definitely require laptop changes every 6 months. Irresponsible, Unprofessional and Un-empathetic HR processes and team members. Most projects in India don't have future growth, or guideline. They didn't need to open India Operations, they followed the fad of opening Tech Center in India now they regret it. It's was a well established mature company with a veteran new CEO, but now the veteran has lost control to Investors and is now fostering a startup culture where you don't have work-life balance. Due to the future expansion Micron Financials are affected. So instead of Investors compromising, Micron made employees compromise forcefully with salary hike cuts, bonus suspension, rewards suspensions, and now finally job cuts. Work life balance is decent with free transportation and subsidised food. The new office facility in Hyderabad is good.

Dislikes

No compensation hikes last and this year, and no bonus this year. Not much growth opportunities in IT and other non engineering groups.

Micron is an excellent firm. - Amazing WLB - Amazing Manager and Leads. (US and India) - The projects are great. - Excellent pay. - Work is hybrid but I enjoy more in office rather than home.

Worse incompetent managers, thrown by other companies and picked by micron. Senior management does not care about anyone. No skill assessment, they will interview on coding skills and won't give you any dev. Projects at all. If you have some work from homes they will make sure you can't take them.
