I'm glad that I got an opportunity to work for MG, it is a British brand with 95 years of legacy now owned by a Chinese company SAIC. Other than this nothing very exciting about working at Morris Garage - Mumbai West.
Lots of load on 1 single person, basically it's multi-tasking every time. People from all other departments reach out to a single person for any kind of query or suggestions. For Example, if someone need a paper to print is also diverted to "Sales Manager", Delivery Coordinator need to draft mail approaches "Sales Manager", Reception need help to find out customer details, easiest & fastest solution "Sales Manager", Seniors keep sending work one after the other, asking to finish of this one on priority. Once the assignment gets done, they ask for the work which was asked to be kept on hold for finishing the latest one. Head CRM keep approaching for work everytime saying this is not my portfolio, the following work is very urgent hence need to be done by you. Juniors are so lame that I've never come across such bunch of fools who only keep abusing someone or the other for not knowing their work properly. Every individual pass on the buck to the other claiming that you know this you had done it earlier also so can do it. Basically the motto is to only come & fill the day for salary to reflect after the month gets over. Pathetic people around except for few sensible ones. Importantly no timing, you can't leave on time; people see their watch incase if you leave on time once in a while. Duty timing - Always before 9.30 am, leaving time usually after 8 pm....Read More

I do not really like anything about the company.
The plant is situated 45 km away from the city of Vadodara. HALOL is not an urban setting. Most employees have to travel a minimum of 2 hours everyday. The company doesn’t consider this and always expects employees to put in extra hours. Almost all managers are two faced, pro at dumping blame on subordinates.
