Bro, I’m at a loss about where to start. I haven’t seen such a beautiful hospital infrastructure anywhere in India. But at the same time, I’ve never encountered such a horrible nursing staff. If you’re thinking of coming here, you better be prepared for a few things: 1. The work culture for nurses is terrible in every possible way. 2. Your seniors may not know much, but you’ll still have to follow their lead. 3. The nursing director lacks basic skills. Her decision making is awful she only likes those who flatter her. It doesn’t matter to her if someone is practical, skilled, and well-educated because, honestly, I doubt her own educational background. 4. Lastly, when you approach HR for help, they’ll throw up their hands too. They’re HR in name only, and the policies are nonsense. You won’t get any support. Only formals allowed, no denims allowed, no sports shoes allowed, no work-life balance, smiling not allowed. 6 months probation. Exit policy: during probation: 15 days notice, after probation: 2 months notice. Office me phone me signal nahi aate, you won't see sunlight, as it's on lower ground floor, punch karne ke liye pehle 700 meter door ek duniya me jana padta hai aur fir aap apne desk pe aate ho. Jeans pehenna allowed nahi hai, toh agar jeevan se jeans nikaal sakte ho, yeh tyaag ho sake toh hi interview me time invest karna. Mujhe pata hota toh mai interview hi nahi deti. Winters aane vale hain, hoodie pehenna bhi allowed nahi hai. I would advice, zarurat ho toh apni chai ki dukaan khol lena but Medanta ki CRM Team mat join karna especially jab tak vahaan Anchal Gupta and Jitendra Gopalan hain, mark my words voh vahi rahenge kyunki skills in dono me hain nahi aur job market me skills pe job milti hai, toh yeh apni politics chalayenge yaha aur yahi rahenge, so indirectly yeh keh rahi hu mai ke kabhi mat join karna medanta ki CRM team. Anchal team ko dominate karke rakhti hai by making them feel worthless and Jitendra Gopalan Anchal ke WhatsApp message ke baad ek top-up karta hai team ko saying "What non-sense is this?" Toh team ko lagta hai ke dono managers unpar chilla rahe hain, and team go into stress. Ultimately team me resignations pe resignations aa rahe hain. Agar aap ek khushmijaaz / happy person hain, toh yeh job aapke liye nahi hai. Aap apni crore rupees ki smile kho denge like I lost. I manage a team since last 5 years, mujhe farak nahi padta meri team kahi se bhi kaam kare, all I want ke kaam hona chahiye, that's all. Galti maine yeh ki ke maine socha ke yeh managers bhi mere hi jaise honge. Obviously dusro ko dukhi karke kaun hi khush raha hai. But nahi, mai galat thi, aur mai fir fas gayi. Yaha mujhe mili Anchal Gupta as direct manager. Bhai "zindagi barbaad ho gaya" gana suna hai sunil grover ka? Bilkul same chal raha tha mere dimaag aur zindagi me. Subha ke 10 baje, mai office aai, madam boli ke aapko sabse pehle aana hai, 10 baje aana nahi chalega, she said "THIS IS NOT ACCEPTED". I just said, ok will come early. Then I started coming by 9:00-9:30, fir ek din mai 9:40 pe aai, Anchal fir bolne lagi, you are late always. Ab bhai mujhe batao, ke raat ko aake baith jaun office me? Yeh Anchal didi toh Sector 57 se aati hain, 10 min me palak jhapkai aur office me prakat ho gayi, agar Anchal walk karte hue bhi ayegi toh 10-15 min me pohonch jayegi office. Ab baaki log jo door se aate hain voh kya karein? Anyways, aage badhte hain, yeh toh ho gayi inki chindi harkat. Aage suno.. 26th Aug ko thi Janmashtami thi, Medanta me it was a working day, mere account me thi "Restricted Holiday" leave. Mai gayi portal pe aur maine apply kar di, the way jaise poori duniya chutti apply karti hai vaise. Anchal ka call aaya mere paas, yeh chutti kyu apply kari hai? I said Janmashtami hai isliye. Fir Anchal boli, Medanta me toh chutti nahi hai. Maine kaha "Haan, yaha chutti nahi hai, isiliye toh maine apne leave balance me se "Restricted Holiday" leave apply ki hai. Anchal said "How can you apply leave directly on the portal? Aapko merese discuss karna chahiye tha, kaam kaise manage hoga etc etc, Why do you want a leave? Apni pichli organization me bhi apne manager se puchte hoge na aap etc etc. I said it's a holiday and I am a Hindu and I celebrate my festival, so I won't be available. Toh indirectly she said ke chutti cancel kar do but I was rigid on taking it, and portal pe apply ki thi maine. I don't know what pressure she has that portal pe apply ho gai hai toh usko approve hi karni hai aisa kuch. She was continously saying portal pe apply nahi karoge aap, pehle mujhse discuss karoge, aise chutti nahi leni hai. Anyways, bhai log maine toh badhiya tareeke se manayi Janmashtami with my friends and family. Toh yeh ho gayi dusri choti harkat. Aage badhte hain.. So Anchal didi is expecting and will be going on a maternity leave soon. Jitendra Gopalan called me to the cabin. I went, so Jitendra and Anchal share the same cabin. So both were there in the room. It was my 10th/11th day at Medanta. So, just an overview, I was hired as a senior manager and 8 people's team had to report to me. Conversation goes: Jitendra: You need to pick up fast Me: Yes Jitendra, I'll pick up, I know Anchal has less time and I've to take on things. Anchal: Meri chinta mat karo tum, mai kahin nahi jaane vali, mai toh delivery ke ek mahine me aa jaungi vapas, aur jab tak mai aungi na, tab tak yeh position khali hi rahegi Me: Sure Anchal, let me know the next task. Anchal: Team will report to me only, tum reactivation ka content banao Me: Ok Sure So, this was the conversation that made me to decide that I should leave Medanta. I as a Senior Manager - Marketing, where I was told that this team will report to me, here she didn't want to handover the reporting to me. Just because if the reporting comes to me and everything works well, and the day Anchal comes back to the office post maternity whether after 6 months or an year or as per her after 1 month, her position would've been absorbed, so she was feeling insecure that her job will be lost. If she is finding me as a threat to her job, that's not my problem, that's her problem that she isn't capable of finding a new job and isn't able to compete with young talent. That's why she is pushing her career with the help of politics. I wish her all the best. Join karne ke 17 days baad I gave Anchal a big gift in the form of my resignation, now her job is safe. Wishing her all the best. I wish she stays there always so other organization's culture isn't spoiled. There's a high attrition rate in the team, and it will continue because of this behaviour. Ek saying hai "The fastest way to kill company culture is to let bad behavior be tolerated and rewarded". I lost my smile and I don't want someone else to lose their smile, if this review saves even a single smile, it would be my achievement. Mujhe dukhi kiya koi baat nahi. I believe on Krishna ji's saying: "Agar tumhe kisi ne dukhi kiya hai toh bura mat manna, kyunki, log usi ped par paththar maarte hain, jis ped par sabse zyada meethe fal hote hain."
