Compared to other construction companies,L&T's credibility is much better and employees are treated with respect and there are proper SOPs within which facilities are provided to the bachelors as well as the ones with families.

Dislikes

Extremely complex and complicated EIP and corporate procedures which delay work immensely.In fact there are many such documentation works which are part of the procedures but in reality those are not necessarily needed.

Likes

Proper way of working in all aspects, Decision making, Maintains the machinery & assets to perform the work, Proper cash flow b/w all stakeholders. Good support from Seniors international of work.

Dislikes

Performance rating not evaluating based on current year.

Salaries on time but Performance bonus is 3 months delayed It supposed to come in July months salary but It comes in Sometime September or October. Having big projects hence u will get more exposure to learn the things which develops ur confidence. System of handling vendors and procurement process are very nice. Payment of vendors good but sometimes delayed .

Dislikes

Strict timings, No Sunday rest , including holidays working. Promotion get delayed. Their performance rating system are very bad and generally PM doesn't follows the fair rating system. Execution peoples doesn't feel empowered to take any decision regarding vendor mgmt. Person growth are very slow and huges gaps founds in salaries and benefits in same cadre due to performance rating.

Can't get time for Family, U have more leave balance but not able to take as a responsible person at site, Indirectly u have to forced to work in Sunday also and if u will take comp off- It's a crime.

L&T Construction company is a good company but working life not balance and Sunday have not compensation more pressure in working period

Company show like good place of working but some time company can't think our employees everytime prefer your work company have not centerlised rules his rules can be changed every site and every incharge and every incharge have ego problem they can't understand our subordinate problem and many times not support many senior staff don't know how to behave our junior staff

L&T will give you opportunities to learn and work and to handle jobs by yourselves. L&T will give you the scope of new thinking and implementation.

Dislikes

The annual rating process is totally disturbing. After giving your best through out the year you will be given lesser rating than some people who have just come to office and sit. Your work will be appropriated verbally wherever you are required to complete some job, but all your efforts will be forgotten when it's the time of appraisal.

There is nothing technical they play with the career of NITS and best Government college students literally work life is pathetic even after wasting 12-14hr onsite zero productivity
