Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

Good salary offered compared to competition. Salary gets credited on time. Good for skill development because of handling multiple projects at a time.

Dislikes

No Work-Life balance. Weekly 54 hours working, still Office Out-time is not fixed. Sometimes, need to work on Sundays also. Lot of internal politics. So called Seniors who are stuck and settled there try to tarnish new employee's image in front of Management and Management blindly listens to them only. No matter how hard you contribute for company, you will be treated as per feedback given by biased Senior's only....Read More
