They say if you can survive in LPU, you can survive anywhere. The environment is quite competitive so you are going to learn lot of things in very short amount of time. If you are a true hustler you are going to see lot of other means to earn such as floating your own training programs , writing Research Papers, generating revenue for university and many more. You are never going to get respect here, neither from students, nor from your colleagues. The hierarchy of respect is somewhat like this here, HR People> AO> Teachers. Being a teacher is a respectable job but not here. One thing which I never liked is their policy of leave deductions, these people from HR , AO , DQA and DAA can deduct your salary anytime for even smallest mistakes. They will deduct your leave if there is a Chancellor address going on and you leave the venue before the end of it (even if university time is over). There is lack of vision in upper hierarchy of university, which might result in downfall of university in coming future....Read More

Make use of your skills, you have to do multiple roles at same time, it is tough to balance things but at the end of the day you might have skilled to do multiple activities..

There is no teaching load that can't be handled by the faculty and the university encourages and gives a lot of time for faculty development and helps them at all levels to work for personal growth

Dislikes

For one subject they have approximately 16 faculties on an average so at any point of time that subject can be taught by any one of them which leaves other faculties absolutely free most of the time.
