I've been having a good time working as a Graphic Designer at Livspace in Bangalore! The team's creativity is off the charts, constantly coming out with cool designs. The work environment is incredibly welcoming, with everyone always lend a hand. And the place of learning opportunities provided by the company is fantastic upgrading my skills.

I loved the creative freedom that was provided to me. You can try incorporating your ideas and get feedback from the senior management which is a moral booster. Always sticking to the guidelines isn't fun because I came from a creative field and I wanted to play with my creativity. This made working at Livspace easier.

Dislikes

No planning ahead of work. You might be left wondering if they even need you to do anything or not. Eventually, they will lay you off just like they did to 60% of the staff with just 1 week of severance.

There was no proper roadmap to building products. Technical decisions were taken at a higher level by people who did not have enough experience in the tech stacks and that led to problems. Products were built and released in a hurry without enough testing and/or planning.

When you are working for International BU, the culture is good. But when it comes to India BU, it’s chaos. Reporting managers have no idea what’s going on. Briefing gets changed and you are responsible for No work done.

Very toxic managers. They will keep on doing internal politics and would go to all level to push out of the company. Even after the work is over, they will make you do it or tag you in someone else’s project just to slip away from trouble which is luring on their head. You will have no support and at the end if things go wrong you will be blamed. They are sweet on your face until u bring them the number or else they treat you like anything and if you disagree to dance on their tunes they will drag the HR to take actions against. A lot of interesting things I learned, my teammates were so supportive and helped me learn new tools, I like challenges and Livspace challenged me to the core. Good pay motivated me to work harder. Work culture and work life balance Prices that livspace provide are too high compared to market prices. This makes us oversell services to the customers usually leading to escalations as the price doesn't meet the quality of execution 80% of the time. Dealing with this uncessary hassle wastes a lot of time and energy.

Manager have 0 present of knowledge and she doesn't know to talk, no work life balance and they gave your client's to another person without your concern to satisfy there ego. You've to work according to client, if client is available after working hours you've to present at that time and after all hard work they will still threatenyou and give assign someone at your place, like they have power and they can fire you when they want there's no point of working that much still in the end you'll hopeless....Read More

The salary credits on time 1st of every month, will get to learn about modular and client facing, That is the only good thing about Livspace. While joining HR's lie about the variable part, the rule of variables are changed in every 3 months, please don't go in hr's word ask for higher fixed salary. They will fool you by telling as you complete your task you will get your incentives, but company make sure no one is getting full incentive. Due to there unwanted rules. Which is not been informed by HR. Your day will start with meeting and then they will expect to finish there work on time and will show so called attitude that they really care and want you to complete your work on time. After that they will make you work overtime with no OT payed. This company will soon shut down as I have never seen such an unorganised company, please don't waste your time here if you want work life balance and stress free life with low salary package. A bunch of employee leaves in every 2 to 4 months. there is continuous hiring so you can think the amount of toxicity companies hold ....Read More

No work life balance, no safety concerns for girls they make you wait late night for clients meeting, for the company saftey is not the priority they only want booking at any cost, they will also not consider your health which will be spoiled by them, no understanding regarding work load, they offer less salary with immense work load. They will make you work like donkey until they ruins your health every 2nd person in livspace has health issues due to there working hours. New managers which has been hired is unprofessional un trained tell there employees to work at any cost, they will ruin your personal life, make you feel unappreciated even if you perform good, Also very unprofessional behaviour of managers are been faced they will call you anytime and expect to answer there call.
