1.The work-life balance in the Data Science team isn't great. 2.They're not using much new technology, mostly just SQL and Excel, hardly any Python. Getting to work on machine learning projects is rare, and only a few people get to do it. They seem to do this to show they've contributed a lot to the business, but they don't follow through on giving those opportunities to newcomers, even after a year or more. 3.The team has a bit of a toxic vibe. Even when problems are raised, they don't take them seriously and push for manual work instead. 4..If you're too close to your managers, you'll get better appraisals. Even higher-ups know about this. 5.Even though they say they're a fintech company, they mostly use Excel for their data, which leads to a lot of mistakes. 6.If you're thinking of joining the Data Science team, be ready to mainly do reporting and quick tasks instead of bigger projects. There are endless dislikes about this company. 1* If you are told during interview that Saturday is off, please don’t believe them, you have to work even on Sundays. No public holiday , no other leaves allowed. 2* your variable pay is totally dependent upon your manager, if they offer you INR X , you will get x/4. 3. Unlimited work hours, so if you don’t have any other work , no hobby , no family, and you only aim or you can say , if you are born to grow this company, only join then. 4.
