If you just want to recieve on time salary and don't want to put too much effort into your work then this is the best firm to relax

Dislikes

It is a highly biased firm, if you are not in good books of senior management people, then no matter how good you perform it won't matter. Your growth rate is not proportional to your effort & skills if you don't know how to be in good books of some people

Nothing, it feels like high school nowadays.

Dislikes

Secretly company is falling down. No perks. Even the sick leaves are restricted. Should apply planned leaves before a month. No unplanned leaves allowed because sick leaves are being questioned. Concept of work life balance is just to mention in offer letter. Honest suggestion would be to prefer some other startups than KPMG.

Quality of work is very good. Huge learning opportunities are available.

People are just revolving around the higher management people. People who are technically sound and hard working are judged drastically. There is not provision for medical emergencies. I was rated based on my sick leave even for which I had submitted the medical certificates as an when received.I was informed that quality is a subjective term which cannot be measured and when I consulted my scorecard with other managers I was informed that I should have been rated a 2 based on that scorecard. Nothing is good here. They changed my team to an entirely non relevant one suddenly after my joining date.

Work policy is pathetic. Changed team without considering my background and experience. Even after being a BTech + MBA from top tier colleges, I am forced to report to UK/US fresh graduates of 2021 batch. They are our managers in UK and are not even half qualified as us. Everything possible!!! - Worst Culture - No recognition for work done - Long working hours - No growth opportunity - pointless rules to follow - Managers in your team micromanage whatever you do (see when you go and come back from lunch, how many Breaks you take) - Talk rudely to you and diss you in meetings - No flexibility term in their Dictionary though mentioned in their policy

The salary is hike fair compare to other organisation. Thats what i like the most in the company. Work pressure is completely depend upon project to project. Work hour is very flexible.

1)There is no work life balance. 2)There is no Log off time we need to start the day before the login times and there is no log off time for the company. 3) there are so much politics they can remove you from the company at any time with nonsense reason 4) they will never promote you as per your quality then never see good on you but always see bad in you

For no reasons RTO tracking by supervisor though exceptions given to shift people, also while having not client facing role forced for RTO. Companies like Deloitte and PWC still giving work from home, no one is tracking the way KPMG. That is forcing people to leave organisation. Long hours - Until midnights. Pay revisions don't happen often. Firm wants you to be a pet dog to partners from the West. One negative comment and your career is doomed. Lot of unaccounted work in the name of practice development

Apart from normal work they keep on pushing you to take up extra projects irrespective of your work Doesn't matter how skilled you are, the only thing matters here is how much you do activities Not a good place for someone who wants to learn and grow

People are good. Nice company , I had a great journey here. You will get things to learn if you are lucky enough.

Very poor management system. Forced to work in projects. No proper appraisal, compensation, benefits. Tooo much politics. Company growth matters to them not the concerns of individuals. I had a terrible experience but there are people whom I have seen who are having plan to get retirement from kpmg only.

Your expertise doesn’t matter for the leadership they raise unnecessary points against you to show your performance is bad. Leadership doesn’t work to get more clients and all efforts has to be done by employees.
