Senior ASMs who have a good rapport with RMs are really irritating because their own compensation is even lesser than the management trainees, there level of frustration is very high and provided they're not hailing from a good business school, knowledge gathered mainly from Market and work tenure, local management bodies can make your life hell if you are against them, they don't have basic etiquettes and totally unprofessional. Sales is everything, from senior to junior management everybody is dying for sales, be it setting up an umbrella and selling purifiers in the middle of the roaf and there is no mental peace, forget work life balance. No growth over here honestly because I have seen ASMs working here for 3 years with very less package than a management trainee from a decent bschool, trainees are forced into direct sales in various counters and door to door visit is involved.
