Really good work environment. Management is really supportive of the staff. Compensation is really good for a second tier city. The benefits of being a faculty in KMC Manipal are multiple including the vast library, the workplace ethics, attitude of the hospital staff towards the faculty, etc.

Dislikes

The hospital per se is exceptional but the career growth after 2-3 years is close to none. It is a teaching hospital and we can hone our professional skills here but only upto a limit. Manipal, as a town can take a long time to getting accustomed.

I had a pretty good experience at KMC, interacting with undergraduate as well as postgraduate students. The entire community was warm and welcoming

KMC college and Kasturba Hospital is a great place to work and learn from. I love the faculty and student interaction here the most, as all of the faculty are very friendly and open to students ideas and views for the betterment of the campus. One of the best institues in India for sure.

Forensic medicine department of KMC mangalore is horrible in matters of toxicity. Overworked Very badly toxic and faculties are quitting Unprofessional head of the department Taunting heard about the salary
