There is not much to like about working at Kannur Medical College. My experience in my current organization has been anything but a space for professional fulfillment, respect, and fairness. A recent issue regarding the non-payment of my salary has brought to light the profoundly ingrained dysfunction within the organization, making it clear that my efforts and contributions are neither respected nor acknowledged. Instead of handling my salary issue professionally, the GM and his team created an unwarranted hostility, making me feel like a burden rather than an employee with a legitimate concern. The intimidating atmosphere during my meetings, where relevant documents were pulled out to discredit me, clearly showed that they were not interested in fairness but rather in silencing me. Their body language, veiled threats, and dismissive attitudes further reinforced the toxic culture I was entangled in. The most shocking moment came when I received a baseless accusation in an official document. A mere salary inquiry had spiraled into an attempt to malign my reputation and character.
