Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? Office politics. You have to work under admission director no matter what who doesn't know how to speak English and he don't even understand.

9 to 6 and if you are coming to campus. You will have to catch the bus at 8:15 and you will reach home by 7:30 so it's 11 hr in total
