Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn’t address our issues. Salary is decent but career growth is slow

From my prospective the work experience you get its 70% depends on you i mean if your communication skills are good so build great relation with your colleague. It was my first job and i was very setisfied with my work , i got good team...So yeah! overall it was good experience to work in johri digital.

Dislikes

The first thing is the canteen, canteen is awful somtimes you did't get the seat for lunchtime so you have to wait, the second thing is supervisor its not guidable at all i did't get one traning from my supervisor every thing i learn from my team or from my mannger i don't know about other departments but my supervisor was very bad at doing his job.

So, my department was F.Q.C ( final quality control ). In F.Q.C.... product is arrived in fully assembled condition so we operate the product at its full capacity, verified aesthetically, output of the product in range or not etc.

On saturdays company gives you one hour free time so you can do serval kind of activities like playing vollyball, badminton or doing nothing and also you get one gatepass in every month so you go home at 2 hours early.

Everything, specially my boss. Despite traditional thinking he gives the flexibility to work from home and work flexible timings until I'm fulfilling the work requirements and hours. Despite management's pressure he tries his best to take care of his team.
