In my case, I was hired as a contract employee but after some time they increased my duration. In the end, led me to a full-time employee. but with low salary increment as I was on probation(even after working as a contract employee like seriously?) when I asked my mentor he said I will get full-time after 1 year. Which broke my heart. I belong to North India, and in every meeting either manager level or developer level, they talk in Tamil. Even if I say to talk in English after 1-2 minutes they again shift to their native language.
