Quant department lead - Mr Amit Goyal is a co-operative man and believes in quality driven but is way driven by emotions and rigid processes of the company, rather than servicing students with quality.

1. Dead HR department, Ashima ma'am is as good as EA of the founder. They are just of no use and lack basic skills. 2. Students arent priority - Where other institutes are able to gauge students need, they are stuck with their 1990 processes and renovate their processes as and when they want. That explains their falling numbers in the market. 3. Faculty IQ - Faculties are trained to be ROBOTS, MAYBE it works initially but not in a longer haul. The work culture is relaxed. Incentives are great. But because I'm a part-time faculty, in the lockdown since classes aren't happening, Jamboree said they don't need my service and I can rejoin when classes open. So I'm jobless right now.

The job training provided wasn't adequate. They must provide intensive training so that the teacher can take classes more efficiently. The HR should explain the leave policy to make the teacher aware of how to apply and how it works. I once applied for comp-off and it lapsed since I wasn't aware that it expires in a month. Also they should try to place teachers to their nearest centre. Traveling becomes hectic and time-consuming....Read More

I only taught on Saturday and Sunday. So it was fine for me. Wish they had at least 4 working days for IELTS & TOEFL classes.

They provide coffee/tea. There's microwave oven to heat your food. Annual team outing is there. They also sent me to attend an ETS workshop on TOEFL.

It is okay to work here IF you are fine with working without work-life balance then it is a good place to be in. However, there is scope of learning. There is no pressure of work as such, given you are coming and going on time. You get salary on time, no matter what.

Dislikes

NO WORK-LIFE BALANCE! You have to work 6 days, 8 hours on weekdays and 9 hours on Sat-Sun. Senior leadership is the worst. As long as you are working, no one pays head to HOW you work.

There is zero work-life balance. 9-10 hours of office 6 days a week. All weekends working. In fact, all festivals and national holidays also working. Rarely, do we get a proper day off even for festivals. The rate of people quitting the company due to physical and mental burn-out is a joke. People here eventually become super-stressed and most of them end up having personal and physical health issues after some time. Forget about family time. Management makes new people work a lot. Lot of workload and expectations. Person is expected to give a good class even when the training is also not properly completed.
