Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Working here is really hectic. Management is well focused on deduction. If you get some benefit that means you are going get a new deduction scheme. e.g. Company used to give bonus few years back but staff asked for paid leaves and they gave 21 days paid leaves and bonus was deducted, Monthly 2 half days were allowed for any personal work. and timing was 10.30 - 6.30 but staff asked for Insurance then the half days given monthly was cancelled and the office timing was 10.00 - 6.30 after that and insurance was given. So before joining here please be ready for deduction. Here you have to do multitasking beyond your task lists....Read More
