Intel takes care of its employees better than many companies in industry. They have provided lot of benefits to employees to manage their work, health, wellness and family. During Covid time, Intel has been quite supportive throughout and provided support to set up working from home setup for efficiency and ergonomic health. The job security is good as company is stable.

Dislikes

It all depends on group or business unit you work for. Some business unit may have budget constraints and may not reward even deserving candidate, they still are on promotion budget system which doesn't do justice for high performance teams. The individual career progress is slow and I wouldn't recommend it a place for software engineers to make their career. The comparison of salary is with other silicon giants rather than software engineer for this profile which makes to compensation less than peers working at other companies....Read More

Work Details

At the beginning I struggled for ramp up as there is no formal training session. After a while I settled in a team. Work opportunities are good, after a while it could get repetitive and not too exciting as in other companies.
