Dislikes

- No work life balance. - Even you get Excellent rating, but if client moves, then they will fire you suddenly anytime without any reason. They can not afford to keep you on bench even for a week. - No opportunity to learn new technology. - Work domain is very specific to I- Gaming. So, you will not get exposure to latest technology. - They dont provide you any training when you join.They will expect you to work on their critical issues from day 1 without any training. - Even if you get Excellent Rating, but you will not get any Promotion. Yearly increment is also very less....Read More

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
