IIMM, Kol is a branch of IIMM - head Quartered at Bombay, IIMM is a professional Inst to impart education & skill trg on Materials Mgt - various dimensions. IIMM is functioning for about 45 yrs, with Govt affiliation.

Dislikes

IIMM Kol was a nice association of Materials professionals, havung diverse views and expertise. IIMM Kol is a body of elected professionals to serve for two years - as Chairman, VC, Secy & Treasurer with Ex Committee Members. Elected Office Bearers are only giving their voluntary service, assisted by few Office staff, and guided by IIMM HQ. Hence it is not full time Educational set up. We are not employees of IIMM, but remain associated as Members with Sectional responsibilities, from period to period. I myself served as Treasurer, Secretary, VC & Branch Chairman, and later as a National Councillor. My association with IIMM was over 40 yrs, and even now I am a Life Fellow of IIMM, having served as Faculty, Coordinator for Short Courses for 4 years.
