Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.

I always believed and still believe that Indian Dental Association can become an excellent organization. However, the senior leadership is completely void of vision and clueless. The association works like a government office which offers no room for an employee to grow and improve the company, even if they want to. The H.o.Ds themselves have no idea how they want to lead their department which clearly indicates the acquisition skills of the HR. Oh, BTW there is no HR. The I.T. department is full of people who have fewer skills than a local cyber cafe person. They copy paste other website's source codes to create theirs. In a nutshell, if you are looking for a career growth, good salary, and nice work environment - do not associate with them....Read More
