The organization is one of the apex organization which transform a raw civilian lad into a gentleman. The training period is tough but you have to keep in mind that you are being trained to defend your motherland. In the coming years you are posted to far-flung places in India covering entire length and breadth. The work culture is full of bonhomie where every collegue is ready to help and seniors are ready to teach. The family life is bit disturbed due to frequent transfers but the service teaches you to consider whole country as your home. Probaly it has so much faith on its training that a multi crore machine is left in the hands of a youngster of 24-25 years of age. The job security is there for those who are physically fit and mentally agile. In short it is the best organization which allows you to grow and to have the job satisfaction after finishing the tenure. I after the retirement when look back I find myself a very satisfied man who completed all my responsibilities whether social or organisational with utter satisfaction.
