Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? In short it's like govt job.. they won't give any work pressure or over time work.. they provide good food for their employees.. they will accept our leave and permission when ever we need..

Dislikes

There are some few negative things in the company... We can't expect the appraisal on right time.. for each and every thing they have a big process... So easily we wont get solutions for our problem.. if you want to relieve from the company then u need to pay to the company or else you need to serve 90days with out any leave and permission..
