1. I get Alternate WFH weeks. 2. I get two meals + snacks, which are part of my CTC. 3. I also get free courses which is again part of my CTC. 4. (point 2 and 3) add upto a good amount, but they are non-monetary and there is no way to opt out of these. Hardly any more likes to write. (event point 4 is a dislike)
1. No Work-Life Balance: If you work until 2 AM, you're still expected to report to the office at 8:30 AM. The company doesn't respect personal time or the need for rest. 2. Lack of Management: The absence of effective management is glaring. There is no clear direction, and the leadership fails to provide the necessary support or guidance. 3. Reliance on ChatGPT for Decisions: Shockingly, half of the company’s decisions are made using ChatGPT, and they don’t even bother to provide proper prompts or relevant data for the AI to function effectively. 4. Appraisal and Promotion Policies: The policies for appraisals and promotions are the worst I've encountered. There is no transparency, and hard work is rarely rewarded. 5. Performance Bonus Scam: The performance bonus system is a scam. Despite working hard, employees are judged based on the company's unrealistic revenue targets. If the sales team underperforms, everyone suffers. It's unfair and demoralizing. The unrealistic goals set by the sales team are never met, yet the upper management from the sales department continues to receive their bonuses. 6. Unreasonable Expectations: The company expects developers to work like those at Google but pays like a typical SaaS company. The compensation does not match the workload or expectations. 7. Poor Treatment of Hardworking Employees: Many hardworking employees, who could have been assets to the company, were laid off due to the CXO's questionable decisions. Others left on their own after receiving a negligible increment of 0.89%, which was the first appraisal in 1.5 years. 8. Lack of Diversity in Hiring: Some teams lack diversity, which hampers creativity and innovation. 9. Poor Retention of Good Employees: The company does not retain good employees. There's a high turnover rate due to dissatisfaction with the working conditions and lack of recognition. Overall Summary: Join Increff only if you are desperately looking for a job. - Hybrid policy & office timings is from 8.30 to 5.30 (I personally like it so we could avoid traffic) - Breakfast, lunch & snacks - Majority of the senior folks are so great as individuals. - Freshers will be able to learn things fast & gain good knowledge (may depends on the team as well)
- Micromanagement: It's so disappointing how the company changed from being so flexible towards developers to micro managing everyone. I strongly feel this should be changed. - Overhiring & Underpaying - Delayed review/appraisal/promotion cycles: We will receive the arrears, true, but delay for months effects the motivation. How canone give his/her 100% during those months? - Mass layoffs - Unnecessarily complicating the processes: We introduced extra processes at every step just so that more people get involved from a single work. Management should try to revisit & simplify the processes so that developers could concentrate more on developing rather than other stuff. Even the recurring meetings & MRMs usage should be revisited once - Fixed & Variable pay concept: They introduced concept of variable pay depending on company's performance. And there's no variable pay from last 3 quarters. Instead of this, variable should be on individual performance atleast, so it motivates hardworking folks. Or just remove variable concept for tech guys. - Decreased interview standards - Not a latest tech: We are still working on old versions of tech just because developers couldn't get atleast a sprint to upgrade stuff. The culture at Increff is pretty good. People are really good and approachable.
The management here is not good. This are really chaotic at times. And on top of it there’s no job security. You never know when you might get fired. On top of it you don’t get increments regularly or other benefits at all.
