The ambience of the campus is spell bound. You have 24 h to work there freely. You can work in midnight also. You will get healthy or any kind of food options present inside the campus or outside. Just chill and enjoy your work. Generally, there are many ways to relieve your work frustration there. You will get good hostel mates, good cultural association, sports options. The good library is there which is the Asia's largest library. You can continuously develop your knowledge and skills there....Read More

You have to learn in the lab by yourself. Generally, professors do not participate in the laboratory work. However, few professors are exceptions they work with the researchers in the laboratory. The sample characterization system is a bit slow. It takes long time to get a slot for testing samples.

IIT Authorities looked after very well during initial covid days for about 3 months starting from March 15 to June 20 while other IITs forced their students to vacate the hostels.IIT provided us mess food,masks..etc and good internet connection like we avail in normal time As far as placements/Job experience is concerned i have really bad things to say.I was very hard working student and last semester i even got 10 point out of 10 still i have no job but some undeserving candidates who do not study or work hard at all got placed in top companies.At the age of 26+ also i am jobless.. Because of age limit i am ineligible for most of the government exams also..What should i do now?..Its like i have wasted 2 yrs of my career.I regret to join this college.......Read More

Deserving candidates are not getting placed.IIT placement authority has to ensure that placement process happening on December is transparent.Many students even after interview are seen standing in front of the interview room to help other students appearing for the same company so that they can share what company asked to previous interviewed students and company asked almost same type of questions to the rest of the students as well......,,Also most of the companies are giving us mail in the wee hour like 3.30 am, 2.30 am...etc which is really bad especially in the freezing cold of December.So we have to wait till we get placement cell's mail in the wee hour even without sleeping...So i had to ride on cycle from hostels to the placement venue which is located more that 2Kms.I was having fever also on those days Also there is nothing like job training/skill training and always preference is given for B.Tech students.Suppose there are 200 companies, M.tech students are allowed in 50 Companies which is really bad TERRIBLE PLACEMENT PROCESS...Read More
