Run like a family run business. In last 5 years there has been a revenue and net profit decline, but leadership team involved in growing business are still running the show because of patriarchy. On the other hand CRISIL has seen a huge spurt on both these counts. The market cap for CRISIL has risen substantially. BTW, both rating agencies started business operations 30+ years back. Reputation wise also ICRA has had its reputation suffer because of high investment grade ratings given to companies that defaulted on loans and bonds. Not a company that invests in people and real learning opportunities are few. Career growth come to people who suck up to managers and damagers (pun intended). If you have no other job opportunity or really bold enough, u can take a job offer. Ps: support roles like Accounts can make u cry by opening another PF account even if you provide the earlier number. HR is disgusting and not honour notice period commitments. Employees who mark attendance without working are given gardening leave. HR will teach you how to give code of ethics and value system a detour. In short they are the worst!!!...Read More

Work culture is more like a family run business. Tamilians at the top with names of Indian God's, but are completely develish. Promote tamilians (K Ravichandran is the Dy CRI)

It's a workplace where there is complete lack of values and integrity. Hauled up by SEBI for IL&FS. Fraudsters like Shubham have been promoted.

New Management is not good. They are interested in reducing the salaries and bonus. Most of us get Low salary compare to our market knowledge and Experience. Middle and Top Level Management is enjoying all salaries. They don't motivate there employees at all.

The company is open to innovation and adopting latest technology in various department. I love the fact I am a part of a team that high-qualified, market reliable and highly motivational.

Dislikes

Compensation is on-average, but growth is very slow. Work pressure is average, but very high in peak months (Quarterly, Yearly) which spool to late night travelling. Hard worker/Smart worker treated as same which I do not like. Also I don't like to work on Saturday/holiday's until there is very urgent requirement.

Worst pay master. Sales and marketing don't get good salary appraisals. They love Analyst, Top management is ready to sacrifice for them. ICRA limited is useless company. I have wasted my 8 years, even CRISIL and CARE are good companies and pays better and understand employees needs. Please don't join ICRA Limited.
