One of the worst companies , have left so mant engineers jobless , Newly hired Engineer terminated , now they have no where to go , No prior notice was given , please don't join UOP in near future

if honeywell have any business problem UOP can spoil your career, doesn't matter that if you are in project or not, they may layoff in one week even you are in some project and your work was appreciated in past. They will give you 5 days of notice period only if they layoff without any reasons and if you resign then you have to served two months notice period. Pros: Lot of database and lots of documentation. Good tool development. Cons: The work life balance is very poor. Too much work load and no extra pay on overtime. 25% salary cut since 1st day of lockdown. Laid off 50-55% employees. Managers are bad in behavior and they take their team mate as the slave. Management : No empathy, laidoff more than 50% employees. No perks. The salary given for the kind of work they take from you is so less. Conclusion: Do not ever join UOP.
