Diversity in work place.

Dislikes

Too much politics in the workplace and no work life balance (specially in Hyderabad Centre), it does not make it worth to spend your time to learn something valuable. It is more of a rat race there, and most of the employees who are recognized there either are "Yes Sir" attitude people, who have a "Yes" approach towards every negative thing as well, which makes the learning factor there almost negligible. The growth of few employees are so biased that it's a big question over the hard work and right approach to certain other employee who deserve better than what they get there....Read More

Did not learn anything about being a design manager. Aggressive sales strategies to bring in customers.

Dislikes

It depends on how your manager and your team are. unfortunately, I had a horrendous experience of micro management and a lack of work-life balance in my tenure. Put up with all the escalations from the customers due to the errors caused by production/ execution and lack of support was a common theme.

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
