Office politics. Low grades. Toxic work culture. No care for employees or support from HR. Managers distribute good grades and perks among themselves, it never to reaches to them who work at site. HR never visits site, they do only compliances. No training. Extremely less manpower. 8 hrs shift but you are expected to overstay, take all the responsibilities still get bad grades. Union is very powerful, workers don't want to work and they fight, blackmail employees on silly things, mangers don't support, because they are scared too. Extremely less employees, one mechanical employee takes work permit around 5-20 per day. Off course, he can't supervise that much jobs together, if any fatality happens, employees are there to go to jail. Seems like company has no ethics at all. No responsibility. Company does heavy metal testing of employees every three months (lead cadmium) but never shares any report. Employees can't protest at anything, they will be terminated....Read More

*Since you'll be living at a remote location so it has its own perks like you save a lot of your salary. *Job security will also be good at this place since most of the people working here leave their jobs and the people left here keep on trying for new jobs, so if you stay here there won't be probably anyone who'll try to remove you from the job so in terms of job security? Yes the job is good.

Nothing about the job is likeable here starting on with- * Work life balance will be completely destroyed, if you come in shifts there will always be multiple shift changes in a single week in the beginning it will be Ok but as time passes it will be very difficult, or if you get an office job again office culture is toxic so in 8amto 5pm shift, you can't get out of the office before 6:30pm, its a part of the culture. * If you are coming as an engineer and trying to learn new things to grow yourself in your career, sorry you will only get to learn those things that are necessary to run the plant and if you try to learn more your seniors will oppose you, your managers won't support you and force you to focus on the plant based activities only. * If you are enthusiastic in your career and work hard to get promotions, sorry you won't get any of it, yes you'll get promotions if you'll say everything yes to your boss, even if he does something wrong or the things that you don't like you have to support him otherwise you won't be promoted. *Remote job location- you'll need to live near mines that are in most cases(70%) situated in villages, i am also posted at village location, so no quick food service/supermarket/chill zones, (yess amazon/flipkart deliver their products here) *Couple unfriendly - since you're living in a village are you are in relationship with someone but not married then you'll be heavily judged here by everyone, not only villagers but your own company people, since couples don't get combined accomodations here(only if you're married then you can get combined palce to live). * The leaders that you're working under are also talentless they don't know things beyod their workplace, majority of the people can't even communicate in English and yes I am talking about engineers here(most of them are from local colleges so if you're from a prestigious college like IIT/NIT/IIMs you will have to work under literally illiterate people). * Job satisfaction will always be missing in your life, since here you'll have 6 days working and one week-off, so even if you want to go to nearby city and chill sometime, you'll have to take your paid leaves....Read More

Everything!! Long working hours…overtime. 6 day work week… No great skill develops Highly abusive and aggressive culture. Manager screams badly and uses abusive words. Very very difficult to choose workplace of ur choice. Unhygienic food and poor drinking water across plant and living quarters. Even basic requirements for survival aren’t that good. Salaries and savings are good as you have nowhere to go to spend. Township is quite excellent as you have to share rooms with 4 individuals so you can maintain social life. Food is quite palatable as it gets prepared in excessive oil. You can easy shop on e-commerce as amazon, flipkart can reach here. Intellectually, you don't have to put lot of efforts as work is not mentally challenging.

On day 1 itself everybody will try to convince you to resign in upcoming years.Your sleep schedule will get ruined by constant changes. No professional growth even after working in health hazards and heavy metals which ruins your health .Most people resign before 1 year. Tbh, as far as job security is concerned this is the best place to work out there. Salary & other benefits are really great. As Appreciation is missing in here, so morale gets down even after giving 100%.

Appreciation is missing, seniority complex is high that could really take a mental toll in here. And also would put you out in a irritated mood most of the time
