managers are worst, they don't care about ground reality simply they put pressure. Hell lot politics ,my mangers use to give 50% more den actual target . which is not achievable . huge under cut price in the market, Company don't care, even if the distributor remove his margin 3.9 % , den also we are not able to match the whole sales price , manager don't care about all these. and too much of complexity of system . soemtimes tse not able to understand it Distributors .normal person wont understand all the system . distributor has to be well educated to work with HUL....Read More

Do not join if you are a management trainee (UFLP). The shrewd HR has designed a policy where your growth will be stunted and render you good for nothing. While your peers in other companies will grow and get promoted once or even twice and start earning double of what you do, you will sit on hikes of 3000-5000 annually. They don’t promote you until 5 years despite exceptional performance. Growth opportunities are limited and the company is full of underperforming mediocre employees who are full of politics. Only way to survive is to keep playing politics with each other and saving ones backs. There is no real tech happening at Unilever. They just create engineering college grade projects and market it as the next big thing internally. The product managers do not have a hint of real Product management. Business stakeholders will secretly drive a lot of things and will hardly reach out to the data & analytics department. Data & Analytics dept still needs to prove its worth in the organization

Bureaucratic. Cannot grow here without viability at Director level. Managers have tendency to push work down and just follow up. 360 degree performance review with multiple stakeholders to be introduced instead of dependency on single manager to define your growth and success. Need more dynamic managers/ leaders who prioritize company growth beyond their growth and visibility.
