Nothing. There is nothing to like about this company except that you can retire from here as long as you have no ambitions in your life and want a secure job that pays peanuts but you are too lazy to go out and upgrade your skills.

Work culture, people working in the organization, no work life balance, no appreciation, employees are treated like servants. work culture in HiMedia is THE most toxic right from the Directors to the chapraasis. The office boys are paid higher than talented employees kyunki gaaon waale hai and the directors are fed information about each and every activity that goes on the floors. Your work and your talents have no value. worst HR policies. HR doesn't know how to do their job. worst leave policies. there is no fair appraisal policy. No proper communication of policy changes. No one, except for the MD checks their email, this also includes all directors. You send an email, and you will need to call and tell the person to check their email. Though it is a family owned company, there is no sync between the family members only. Every single member sings to a different tune and this results in work getting delayed. At the end, the employee responsible for that work is blamed to be incompetent because the work was delayed. If you dare to ask for promotion or good raise, you will be cussed. Typical family owned business here you always have to struggle to be in good book's of the management. You can get good money only if you are always keep pleasing. One good thing is if you are in good books then sky is the limit for your growth.

Here people are working from more than 20-25 years. to old school type of work culture. in the era of storage, they still prefer printing papers and storing it. worked in export department,some people were good and most were worst. you need to sign a bond before joining the office and they might harass you at the end when u try to leave before bond ends
