People are friendly and nice. Workforce is so little that there is no competition. So, if one is good at their work, they will get acknowledged..in words.

Dislikes

Appraisal process is opaque and ineffective. The company has no new business and is now being run by retired people who are working as consultants. Salaries are very low and 10% is the maximum increment each year. No challenge or growth. Don't go by HCL's good name, this is not HCL Tech and there are no horizontal transfers to HCL Tech ever.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss.
