Appraisal policy is ridiculous. Some departments gets away with good rating even if targets are not achieved, while others are more strict. It depends on your department head Salary for the work you do is extremely low. Work culture is a bit uncertain . Some people are extremely toxic while some are genuinely good. It’s how you navigate through that.
