I am an ex employee .I had worked there as a senior fashion designer for almost 2 years.. The company is very good for your resume as it is a public limited company with the second largest manufacturing unit in india..

Dislikes

The company is a disaster for ambitious creative designers. It has so many processes to go through that it's exhausting and non at all feasible for a creative person. The people there frown upon the design team and consider them as fussy and hard to work with. The head designer of sbu 2 is a denim bottom designer and has no experience in womenswear fabrics whatsoever. It is a biased infrastructure that she Is heading with and is ready to degrade other people's careers with no regard of their work or talent. The credit is taken by the head and is distributed among the dear ones alone. I was senior designer and sole care taker of womenswear in the whole unit but was given no credit for bringing in buyers like Walmart in the company. The head takes all the credit and name for everything and doesn't even have the courtesy to call you for meetings with buyers. Your name won't appear anywhere near the buyer. No travel will be given to you if you are not the heads favourite. So basically a very unprofessional working environment that gives no peace of mind and positivity....Read More
