I recently had the opportunity to work at GLA University, Mathura Campus, and I would like to share my thoughts and experiences during my time there. One significant issue that I encountered at GLA University was the evident disbalance between work and personal life. The demands of the job often encroached on personal time, making it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This imbalance could have a detrimental impact on the well-being and productivity of the faculty and staff. Another concern I observed was the lack of adequate support services for faculty members. It appeared that many essential services were offered only as paid options, which placed an additional burden on the faculty. This situation could lead to dissatisfaction and hinder the overall effectiveness of the teaching and administrative staff. Furthermore, I noticed a considerable amount of politics among the faculties. This internal strife can be detrimental to the academic environment, hindering collaboration and fostering a sense of mistrust among colleagues. A more harmonious and collaborative atmosphere would undoubtedly contribute to a more productive and fulfilling work experience. One of the more perplexing issues I encountered was the presence of unnecessarily long and convoluted processes within the university. These processes often made routine tasks needlessly complicated and time-consuming. Simplifying procedures and reducing bureaucracy could greatly enhance efficiency and reduce frustration among the staff. Lastly, I found that the salary structure at GLA University was quite inconsistent. It appeared that individuals had significant latitude to negotiate their salaries, resulting in considerable disparities in compensation for individuals with similar workloads and qualifications. A more transparent and equitable compensation system would help ensure fairness and motivation among the faculty and staff....Read More

Guys I am in PIP and feeling stressed all days

I had fight with code reviewer he is from other team he is just arrogant and he complains to my manager , The manager gives wrong and negative feedback though I am technically sound , but got released by from the project by the manager After that I got new project it was only 2 month I done all most all work got spot award also for this by working more than 12 hours . Because of this overwork I am feeling stressed and new project is coming to me and they just asking me about justification for all 1 Guys I am in pip but new manager said(may be choclate to employee) we will retain you by giving good feedback 2 All people in the company want to take me in projects but asking me justification for pip 3.Working more than 12 hours every day and also attending late night calls I am stressed out every day with working hours and also the justification given to others lot of politics happening . Mentally draining with no patner in my life to share this who can understand this and guid .

Holy place Mathura and Lord krishna Everything seems good when you join. they will talk to you very nicely show you day dreams. There is a syndicate of few old and incompetent employees they won't let you work here peacefully to prove their job.

Working timing is not fixed 9-5 , 10-6, even sometimes 9to 6 . CL taking is pathetic, take leave and work from home. Arrange your duties and keep picking up calls. Paper publishing pressure is high of not published they will throw you out saying you in red category. Incentives of paper is given to only old group of people, No summer break. Students can get you kicked out of university anytime. One complaint and you are out. As people know you are about to leave they will start treating you like a sweeper even worse than that. 1. Even before Covid 19, they used to deduct salary from feb to June , that would be credited in September. 2. 25 percent deductions in salary during Covid 19. 3. Faculty will be part of more than 10 what's app group, wasting entire day checking what's app. 4. Target of 10 Scopus paper every year. 5. They change API policy every twomonths, you will never achieve your targets. 6. Load of 20 lectures per week. 7. No gazetted holiday except holi and Diwali. 8. Class advisor role is worse , as you will be solving students 60 students query entire day. 9. Head of the department, will constantly pressing for more work. 10. Zero family life. 11. Target of consulting and projects. 12. Three months admission duty with admission targets. 13. Quality of students are very poor. 14.
