The upper level management is working hard to make a transition from teaching based to research based university. You will feel like working in a govt.sector as far as job security is concerned.

Dislikes

Lack of resources and clarity to do experimental research. Disparity in salary and appraisal is a major concern which creates frustration among many faculties. GITAM could easily implement govt. like salary structure. This would substantially reduce the grievance among the staff. You have a lot of talented employees who are ready todive for innovation but unfortunately many of them are underpaid despite having PhDs and post doc from premier institutes across the globe....Read More

As a chef 👨‍🍳 Before this I worked for 9 years in the hotel line I like many things about this place 1.Providing medical facilities to the staff 2.Games and town hall during college holidays 3. there is nothing to dislike 🙏🏽 Every work gets done quickly here. Whether it is a water problem or an electrical problem or a broken wall or tiles, everything gets repaired quickly .
