Work culture is quite good and work life balance is satisfactory. Job security is decent.

Dislikes

Growth and learning is slow, not enough space to learn and grow within company. Chances of promotions are very less as not much space in higher management but one can expect increments time to time as per the performance.

Work Details

Work life is pretty good. One can easily spend 3 years in this company but after that need to look for better opportunities just for the sake of career growth. I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session for my profile.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Everything here is just awesome. Work culture is really good. Decent work atmosphere. Ample number of opportunities for every profiles. 5 days working is good for maintaining work life balance.

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
