I understood my endurance & patience working under a very stressful environment
Dislikes
Pros: Nothing that I can think worth of mentioning
Cons: (As per my work experience at Chennai branch)
* Worked at a heavy workload & very low pay scale for over two years as a trainee.
* Was working under over pressure environment where many employees breakdown emotionally due to heavy workload, pressure, politics engaged in office.
* Work politics was engaged & encouraged by manager. Those who are involved enjoyed less work and less mental pressure.
* Manager screws employees emotionally & load them with heavy work who don't fit in his politics.
* Women employees are even expected to work after 5.30 pm which is the actual time to leave as per Gaja engineering company policy. Most of us would work till 7pm (i.e more than 8 hrs a day) which is legally against labor act
* Employees regardless of age were humiliated in front of everyone & their self respect was crushed.
* Manager doesn't have efficient work load schedule so that employees work on same task 'n' number of times which drains employees energy & time.
* Despite all mental trauma caused by the manager at Chennai branch , Hike was given at the time of leaving .
* Few Employees were treated with elite status due to their involvement in office politics.
* All the time most of us were quiet without escalating because of the politics involved, family situation & career.
* On the whole experience with Gaja engineering ,working at Chennai branch was not good due manager's rude and unethical behavior which needs to be reported ¤t employees might need immediate attention....Read More

I learned to work under pressure. I liked my work. I understood my strength and weakness
Dislikes
Working in the Gaja Chennai branch was very difficult due to the work pressure given by the manager. Even though I came before office hours (which even the manager don't follow) I was pressured to leave after 7 pm due to the workload (also not to leave before the manager). The office hour is flexible only for certain people like people under the manager's umbrella, who can come late to work and have a nice breakfast.
Unwanted politics are mostly initiated and appreciated by the manager. Most of the time was wasted discussing these dramas. In spite of me, liking my work, I couldn't continue because of mental pressure from the manager. He is great at understanding people's weaknesses and using them; manipulating, playing with emotions, and turning everybody against each other to complete the work.
There are times when I was emotionally broken down due to pressure but unable to open up or let know the management because every road leads to the manager (when you wanted to complain about him). Wish they were a proper organizational structure where an employee can freely give an opinion or complain, minimum a proper HR in the Chennai branch who can take care of employees mentally apart from evening snacks.
There's is no work-life balance. Days are completely filled with work...Read More
