Fractal has marketed itself as core AI form, but there very few AI projects Overall the quality of work is substandard and most of the projects are of BI / Data Engineering HR dept is not autonomous - highly influenced by senior mgt No growth opportunities at all for newer ppl (1-2 yrs old in the org). Promotions are highly dependent on your tenure in the org and your relation with your manager rather than performance Most of the ppl who’ve spent 5+ yrs in the org lack analytical / data science knowledge and are still given the responsibility of managing ML/AI projects, which makes difficult to work with them. Ever changing vision and confused leadership. Every year the company comes up with a different performance assessment criteria and changes the direction completely. The latest one involves directly attaching client billing to an analysts increment and variable pay. Thereby if a project gets extended due to an unreasonable client or poor project management the analyst who has been struggling to finish the project, suffers even further.
