Clueless top management totally out of touch with ground reality. Business reviews are extremely demotivating. Regional and area managers are insulted in front of store managers during business reviews. Lot of firefighting at store everyday due to lack of proper SOPs. No learning and development programmes. Toxic work culture promoted by top management. Area managers are asked to control store teams like they are some kind of animals. Have known many instances when female employees were indirectly forced to resign when they got pregnant. Promotions on the basis of favouritism instead of capability. Lack of transparency. Appraisals are pathetic and mostly single digit hikes. HR dept. is only a mute spectator without any real empowerment.
