I am working for last two years, mostly we are facing problems with our salary time ,lack of budget we received our salary two three months late. Lack of mismanagement with politics

Good environment. FRI is a forest based institute; there's a tiny forest inside the institute that serves the basic requirements of samples to the students. I worked on CynodonLinn. & MimusopsLinn. which I collected from the campus. The management is transparent and provide all the necessities on-time. Overall its' a good experience.

Dislikes

The registrar office is far from the work place. Bad transportation facilities. Too much of tourists visit the institution.

Work Details

As I worked there as a trainee; so I found, no partiality among the students. The teachers, lab assistance & the scientists are supportive & highly educated. I worked individually but I'm sure they provide a good team work to the members.

Nothing through out my service carrier requires to work in coordination with other divisions. Transfer of technology from lab to land by taking the technologies from lab to land.

It takes projects from which state forest departments could be benefitted.Punlished and documented the research work on forestry by conducting training on various forest based technologies amongst rural people.

The research center is located in the capital city of Ethiopia hence we ca reach many areas with our research without any problem. The researches to be done their are always interesting and the center is willing to provide the necessary facilities. I love to work there forever!
