There is no stability at Financepeer. They act as they believe in "No hiring an firing " , but they did exactly that. They laid off 60% of their staff on the whims of their investors who were always there to meddle with the day to day functions and processes of the company. There was no standard operating procedure for any process at the company. The structure/ hierarchy kept changing every quarter, the KPIs changed every other month and so did the leadership rendering the employees frustrated. They fell back on their established hierarchy and then just let the leaders, they had promoted in the previous quarter, go back to their original designations when they had joined as executives. The new leadership constantly kept changing established teams and shuffling clients until a whooping 30% of the people left of their own volition. The management and the founders were very inefficient in keeping up with the basic technological requirements for processes for customer satisfaction. They depended on redundant modules like excel for scores of customers. Their were very many errors like placement of wrong amount of EMISs (it being a fee financing company) customers. And this happened on a regular basis. A permanent and foolproof resolution for these errors never came up during my 3 years there (even after multiple escalations- both internally and externally). The management was very erratic with their behaviour with clients as well, encouraging the clients while they gave good business and completely going down on their word once they (client) started showing signs of disinterest due to the process errors. The company never, at any point in time, have a stable HR team for recruiting purposes of the L&D of the employees. There have been times when my salary was debited into someone else's account and vice versa. They had also apparently kept on giving salary to a person who had already left the organisation. The treatment of employees was completely partial and biased. A lot of people in the org were relatives and friends of the management who were hired and a very favourable treatment in terms of time and convenience of WFH was provided to them. Some of the employees in this category even had zero accountability. No initiate was ever taken towards the growth of employees like certification courses or training. This also became the onus of the employees who actually wanted to grow. Reimbursement processes were very clumsy and kept on changing every month and kept on growing tedious. The experience at Financepeer has been very tumultuous and un-satisfying and un-gratifying to the core. The management and leadership have been working clearly on their whims and biases which has led to them disrupting the lives of their employees and customers.
