The Management is too involved into everything, even if they do not have enough information about the technicality of the process. The opinions/suggestions of management are always given priority and the ideas/advices of the technical team are ignored most of the times. This is team specific, There are teams that do not follow theAgile methodology and the requirements are taken over mail. There is not enough time provided to design and document a solution, instead, most of the times the requirements are ever changing and hence a single process can literally take a whole year and still remain unfinished. There are so many changes while working on a requirement that you might feel that you wasted your time working on the previous set of requirements. The HR, Payroll, and other teams are way too slow. At times you may feel you are being treated like a burden. The all time famously quoted lazy and rude Govt. Employees would treat you better than most of the teams in FIS. I've colleagues who had to drop literally 20+ mails to get the service letter and other documents from FIS ones they quit. I'm getting mentally prepared to go through the same. TBH, I would recommend this organisation to all those whom I dislike....Read More

Company is good to settle down if you consider it as a Govt company. If you stay there for more years, you will not get much salary. But otherwise company is good for Job security. Plenty of options for internal Job postings within India. Onsite opportunities are less.

Compensation/Promotion is less,if you stay there for more than 5 years.
