Overall it was a goog journey at EXL.

Dislikes

Appraisal of experiance employee. I could not get better annual appraisal while working as quality analyst after completung 5 years in the comparisation of new joined or one year old employee or executive.

Work Details

I joined as executive in exl for life insurance process, where my work was to made changes in active life insurance pilicy. I promoted as quality analyst after 19 months. I redeployed for property and casualty process after 4years. I left in Jan 2019.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
